We took the Payetter River Scenic Byway in search of the Rainbow Bridge. The drive certainly lived up to its name! We drove for about 1 hour and a half. The windy roads were surrounded by the river, mountains and trees. The fall foliage was beautiful with all the different color changes in crisp air. I’ll let these pictures speak for itself.
David was so scared of me stepping on this “dangerous” foot bridge. I walked about halfway since I saw a broken wooden piece falling out…although I think I would have been okay. My friends went before and made it out just fine! I can’t wait to go back on this route and check out McCall next time.
